The skin can produce the important vitamin itself with the help of UVB rays from sunlight, but lifestyle and weather conditions make it difficult to get the daily sunshine we need. With little outdoor exercise, the use of sunscreen, or on days without sunshine, the supply of vitamin D
through the diet therefore becomes more important.
In Vitamin D3 Plus vegan vitamin D3 is additionally supported by calcium and magnesium. Both minerals are provided by the finely ground powder of Sango coral. Strict government monitoring of coral reefs guarantees that only naturally removed Sango coral is collected.
