Dietary fiber for stable digestion

Dietary fiber for stable digestion

Many people complain of such problems of digestion as constipation, diarrhea, flatulence, heaviness in the stomach after eating. Due to the widespread use of fast food and semi-finished products, irritable bowel syndrome is increasingly common. Chronic inflammation of the intestinal wall can make it overly permeable. At the same time, unprocessed protein fragments enter the bloodstream, which increases the risk of developing various allergies.

Solution is to introduce high-quality natural fiber of acacia into the diet.

Soluble fiber is an extremely valuable food component, which is rich in fresh vegetables and fruits. This is a multifunctional regulator of the gastrointestinal tract, which:

  • absorbs toxins, irritants and waste products of patholigical bacteria,
  • is a prebiotic (food for beneficial intestinal bacteria),
  • provides the necessary ballast fibers and optimizes the motility of the digestive tract,
  • envelops and soothes inflamed intestinal walls, reduces their permeability - thus strengthening the immune system and reducing allergy symptoms,
  • creates a feeling of satiety and helps regulate weight,
  • improves fat metabolism, which promotes the health of the cardiovascular system.

The modern European diet is poor in natural fiber. According to the German Society of Nutrition (Deutschen

Gesellschaft für Ernährung, DGE), adult men consume it on average 17% less than the norm, and women - 23%.

The ideal way to compensate for the lack of fiber is to enrich your diet with a special dietary supplement - African acacia fiber. It is obtained from pure resin of organic acacia trees, hand-picked and carefully dried. Acacia fibers consist of 90% water-soluble fiber. They do not contain sugars and additional calories, quickly swell in water and have a neutral taste. They can be added to drinks, smoothies and soups, and also used in baking and sauces. Acacia powder is especially valued in vegan cooking: due to its binding properties, it successfully replaces eggs in vegan dishes.

Healthy eaters often compare acacia fibers with another popular natural prebiotic - psyllium (the shell of the seeds of the plantain Plantago ovata). However, psyllium is made of herbaceous annual plant that grows quite quickly. So it is able to extract undesirable impurities (heavy metals, herbicide residues, insecticides, etc.) from the soil and accumulate them in the tissues. And it cannot be be sure of the proper purity of the plant material from which this food supplement is obtained.

Acacia fibers are produced from the resin of trees that have been growing for many years in permanent places without chemical treatments, which ensures a higher quality of both the original raw material and the final product.
