Unlike conventional chemical dyes, it does not damage or open the hair's natural internal structure. Instead, it gently wraps each individual strand in a protective, shimmering glaze made of an organic henna, madder, and indigo blend. By interacting with your unique starting color, this warm chestnut brown red hair dye creates rich, deep reddish-brown and natural cherry red hair color reflections.

This shade is specifically designed to add warm dimensions to natural starting hair colors ranging from light blonde to dark brown. It is absolutely not possible to lighten, bleach, or dye your hair a lighter shade than your current color with Ayluna Chestnut Red 50 or any other plant-based hair dye. Because this peroxide-free warm auburn plant dye coats the outside of the hair shaft rather than stripping your hair's natural melanin, it can only enrich, deepen, or add warm, fiery reflections to your existing color.

The processing time for Chestnut Red No. 50 is between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on your hair structure and your desired color intensity.
Fine, light, or chemically damaged hair absorbs the organic plant pigments much more quickly and requires less processing time.
Thick, dark, or exceptionally healthy hair requires a longer application time for full color development.
Dyeing a small test strand first is highly recommended to determine your precise processing time and ensure you are happy with the color preview before doing a full application.
