Take 1 capsule daily with plenty of liquid, preferably with a meal that contains fat. Both Vitamin K2 and Vitamin D3 are fat-soluble vitamins, which means they are best absorbed alongside dietary fat. A main meal such as lunch or dinner is ideal. Do not exceed 1 capsule per day.
Individuals taking anticoagulant medications of the coumarin type (e.g. warfarin, phenprocoumon) must consult their physician before taking any Vitamin K-containing supplement. Vitamin K plays a direct role in blood clotting and may interfere with anticoagulant therapy. This applies to all Vitamin K supplements including Vitamin K2 MK-7.
If you are already taking another Vitamin D3 supplement, please account for your total daily Vitamin D intake. Vitamin D3 is fat-soluble and accumulates in the body over time. Very high long-term doses above recommended levels may cause hypercalcaemia. We recommend checking your Vitamin D blood levels with your doctor to determine the most appropriate total daily dose.
