A discovery for vegans and vegetarians! Derived from marine microalgae oil, an alternative to Omega-3 from cold-water fish.

Most food supplements with Omega-3 are produced from fish. Meanwhile, an herbal alternative is exists. For this are used the marine microalgae Schizochytrium sp. Their natural habitat is the mangroves in tropical countries. However, for human consumption, the algae are cultivated in a specially developed facility. This cultivation method allows growing the algae completely free from pollutants, ensuring that the marine ecosystem remains unaffected. The oil is extracted after the harvest and its scent and taste resemble that of marine fish oil. Subsequently, this valuable plant-based oil is encapsulated using corn starch.

The positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA or DHA and EPA.

Recommended dosage: take 2 capsules daily with the main meal.

Ingredients: DHA- and EPA-rich oil from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp. 67%, humectant: glycerol, thickener: modified starch, carrageenan; sunflower oil, antioxidant: rosemary extract, extract containing strong tocopherols, ascorbyl palmitate; acidity regulator: sodium carbonate.  

Note: people who take blood-thinning medication should consult their doctor before consumption.
